Who We Are
Jacksonville Beaches Kiwanis Club
Founded in 1946 by Ish Brant, the former coach and principal of Fletcher High School and later head of the Duval County School Board, the Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville Beaches continues to uphold his legacy by focusing on children and child-centered initiatives across the beaches.

NOON, Club Meetings, BEACHES LIBRARY BRANCH, 600 3rd St, Neptune Beach, FL 32266, – on the SECOND and FOURTH Thursday of every month. Board meets directly following this meeting.
Non-members and guests are welcome at any meeting, including Board meetings

Projects and programs
Sponsorships
- Anchor Academy Kids
- Anchor Academy BUG (Bring Up Grades) Program
- Fletcher High School Key Club
- University of North Florida Circle K International service leadership club
Youth Engagement:
- Baseball Games with Kids: Beaches Kiwanis members take children from Sulzbacher Village to Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp games, where they run onto the field as “Future Leaders.”
- Annual Sulzbacher Halloween Party: A festive event with food, drinks, games, and crafts for children at Sulzbacher Village.
Support for Local Organizations:
- BEAM (Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry): Members volunteer and prepare “Back-to-School” backpacks.
- Mission House: Ongoing projects include collecting men’s underwear and toiletries, and preparing meals for the homeless.
Senior Community Engagement:
- Annual Senior Thanksgiving Dinner: A traditional dinner event for local seniors, in collaboration with Fleet Landing and Fletcher High School’s Key Club.
